Racing Limits is a high-speed highway traffic racer where your lane-switching precision and nerve determine how long you survive at speeds exceeding 300 km/h. You drive down an endless procedurally generated freeway populated with civilian vehicles — sedans, trucks, buses, and motorcycles — moving at realistic highway speeds in both directions depending on your chosen lane. The core skill is reading traffic density two to three seconds ahead and committing to a lane change only when the gap is confirmed, because at top speed even a partially occupied lane leaves no reaction time. Speed builds continuously as long as you avoid crashes, and the score multiplier scales exponentially with velocity, meaning five clean seconds at maximum speed scores more than thirty cautious seconds at medium speed. Reward currency funds a garage of unlockable cars across sedan, sports, supercar, and track-car categories, each with distinct handling characteristics — sports cars turn sharply but wash out under aggressive steering at high speed, while track cars maintain composure at maximum velocity but require more distance to initiate lane changes. Time-of-day shifts change the visual challenge: daytime offers full visibility, sunset introduces glare from low sun angles, and nighttime restricts you to headlight-range visibility with civilian vehicle tail lights as your primary read ahead. Weather events add rain and fog that reduce grip and visibility simultaneously.

Racing Limits runs as a WebGL browser game that requires no download, plugin, or account. It works on most school and work networks because it uses standard browser technology rather than an executable launcher. Session scores save automatically, and purchased cars persist in browser local storage between sessions. Desktop mouse or keyboard steering is the recommended control method; the precision required for traffic weaving at high speed makes touchscreen play significantly more challenging on smaller phone screens, though tablet play is viable.

The single most important habit is reading three to four vehicle lengths ahead, not watching your immediate surroundings. At 300+ km/h, any gap decision made based on what's beside you rather than what's approaching is already too late. Choose your target lane based on the gap you'll arrive at in 1.5 seconds, not the gap currently beside you. During nighttime runs, rely on the pattern of tail lights ahead — four clustered red dots in a two-lane pattern means a side-by-side truck pair with no gap; single-dot spacing means clear lanes. Avoid the outermost lanes during fog and rain: emergency vehicles and broken-down cars park at road shoulders and appear from the visual noise with almost no warning.
